The Artist

“Ever since I was a child I loved creating things and working with my hands.”

 

Destiny, a young artist from Southern Oregon, grew up painting and making crafts as birthday gifts. It wasn’t until age 13 that she took a strong interest in Pencil Portraits. The beginning wasn’t easy and her portraits were more like sketches.

 

“But as I began to practice more and more they began improving. Now I just love to sit down, take a blank piece of paper, and bring life to it.”

 

Destiny is the second oldest of 8 brothers and sisters.

 

“I have the most wonderful family!”

 

Besides drawing, she enjoys scrapbooking and sewing.

 

“I am thankful that God has given me this love and ability to draw. It is my hope that I may bless others through this gift.”
